Re: nissan largo

Andy, the Elgrand has a 3.2TD engine, though very economical. Driving back from Southampton, I would say it's roughly going to achieve around 30 mpg on a run. I think they will become very popular next year as people get to know about them. I'm taking one up to County Durham for Xmas so I will try and work out exactly what it does to the gallon, and how it compares to the Regius which is it's main rival for engine size. What the Elgrand does have that so many people want in an MPV is the split folding rear seats. So many of the newer MPV's have changed the split folding rear seats to a bench seat, shame really becasue it's really useful to fold them up and use the extra room when needed.

I've just sold a Highway Star version of the Largo and it looks superb with the factory bodykit, one of my mechanics isn't too happy about doing the timing belts though, there is more to do on the late 1996 models than earlier versions.
